In our continued commitment to hospitality and welcome at Next Door Hextable, BR8 7RH, we’re delighted to continue to grow and increase our team to better serve all!

Cover Chef: £ 11 per hour, flexible hours & days, working across Tuesday-Saturday. Together with the cafe team to develop and deliver creative, simple and accessible menu options. Able to prepare and cook delicious savoury and sweet options and to direct other staff and volunteers. Level 2 food hygiene is necessary, which can be completed on appointment.

Barista and front counter: £10 per hour, working across Wednesday-Saturday initially, hours to be agreed on appointment. Barista skills and experience needed. £10 per hour. There is flexibility so you could cover when other staff are off. Under the direction of the cafe manager, serving customers, operating the EPOS system, clearing tables and enabling the flourishing of our venue. Minimum level 1 food hygiene necessary, which can be completed on appointment.

Volunteers: sharing across the life of the cafe from kitchen food prep, pot-washing, front counter and elsewhere as you feel confident. We would welcome a regular commitment from you, but in return, we will offer full training, benefits and an opportunity that you will find very rewarding. We’re looking for volunteers who will give four hours, twice a month, or more.
